WATER PURIFICATION PROCESS

A pure water production line is a complete system of machinery and equipment used to treat, purify, and package water for human consumption. The entire process is designed for efficiency, hygiene, and consistency. Pure water production line generally includes the following key stages and equipment:

Water Treatment System

This is the most critical part of the line, as it’s where raw water is purified to meet purity standards.

This process typically involves multiple filtration and purification steps:

Raw Water Storage Tank – tank to hold the raw water (our source of raw water is MAYNILAD) before it enters the purification process.
Raw Water Pump – A pump to move the water from the storage tank into the treatment system.
Pre-Filtration – This stage removes larger particles and impurities.
Sand Filter (Multi-media filter) – Removes suspended solids, sediment, and other large particles.
Activated Carbon Filter – Removes chlorine, organic compounds, and bad odors and tastes.
Water Softener – Reduces the hardness of the water by removing calcium and magnesium ions.
Micro Filter (Security Filter) – A fine filter that acts as a final safeguard before the high-pressure pump, protecting the delicate reverse osmosis membranes.
High-Pressure Pump – Increases the water pressure to a level required for the reverse osmosis process.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) System – This is the core purification stage. RO membranes have microscopic pores that filter out dissolved salts, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, and other contaminants.
Sterilization – The final step in purification to ensure the water is free of microorganisms.
UV Sterilizer – Uses ultraviolet light to kill bacteria and viruses.
Ozone Generator – Injects ozone into the water, which is a powerful disinfectant.
Pure Water Storage Tank – A sanitized tank to hold the finished, purified water before it’s sent to the filling and packaging section.

Bottle Manufacturing and Preparation

PET Bottle Blowing Machine

Plastic tubes called “preforms” are heated and then blown into the desired bottle shape using a blow molding machine.

Bottling Packaging System

Once the water is purified, it’s ready for packaging.

This stage is often fully automated and can include a “3-in-1” monoblock machine that combines the three main functions:

Bottle Rinsing/Washing Machine: Before filling, bottles are thoroughly cleaned to remove any dust or contaminants using purified water or high-pressure air jets.
Filling Machine: This machine accurately and hygienically fills each bottle with the purified water.
Capping Machine: After filling, a capping machine securely places and tightens the caps on the bottles to maintain purity.

Post-Packaging System

After the bottles are filled and capped, they undergo a series of finishing steps:

Labeling Machine: Applies labels to the bottles with product information, branding, and barcodes.
Date Coding/Printing: Prints the production date, expiration date, and/or batch number on the bottle or label.
Packaging Machine: Groups and packages the bottles into multi-packs using shrink film.
